Imaginary Instrument | 001
Translating roughly to "Wooden Throat" the Viðarhálsi is a relic from an older world built for ragged droning, folk tales, and ill omens.
But here, it has been captured with a wider and more comprehensive bag of tricks: articulations like tempo-synced bowing, haunting phrases in multiple keys, and controllable sympathetic strings.
As a part of the Imaginary Instruments collection, Vitharhálsi is fictional, but not fake. More about that here.
